        This is gonna be a huge blab-fest, but when I was younger, I quite literally did nothing but work. My greatest aspiration in life was to get an office job and take over the world. I went home and I did hours of homework only to dream of the day I could get a job so I would have my own money to buy fancy school supplies. Big surprise, I am definitely not doing that anymore. I went into a huge emo/depressive/anxious/I'm quirky and different and not like the other girls stage. Life was not fun, but I didn't know what to do anymore. I had a SERIOUS case of burnout. Thankfully my friends were absolutely amazeballs and helped me get out of it. I like to think I've gotten significantly less embarrassing, but even if I'm not, I know how much happier I am. It is SO liberating. Getting to the point, I made this whole thing because not everyone has those amazeballs friends to pull you out of a funk and teach you why life is worth living. In the insightful words of Luc from Emily in Paris (Cue the thick French accent) "you Americans live to work, here, we work to live." We work so much and forget the reason we're doing it all. Work is supposed to give us means to live our lives, not be our lives. Everyone deserves to be fashionable, fun, and free, living that picture perfect Pinterest life we all want, or at least I do.
